meet OUR pastors
pastor ed bechtel
Pastor Ed is ordained with Mark Barclay Ministries and is a member of the Preachers of Righteousness Network. He has been ministering for over 30 years and has been pastoring at Hope Worship Center since the church’s inception in 2013. Prior to pastoring, Pastor Ed was a children’s minister and praise and worship leader. He also has years of experience minstering to troubled marriages: he and wife Le Ann founded One Flesh Ministries in 2007.
Pastor Ed has been married to Le Ann for 42 years. They have two children, Kenny (age 39) and Brittany (age 33). They have two grandchild, Alice (born in 2020) and Quinn (born in 2021). Prior to becoming a pastor, Pastor Ed spent 10 years in the United States Air Force and 27 years with the Atlanta Police Department. He retired from APD in May of 2015.
pastor le ann bechtel
Pastor Le Ann is ordained with Mark Barclay Ministries and is a member of the Preachers of Righteousness Network. She has been ministering for over 20 years and, together with Pastor Ed, she has been pastoring Hope Worship Center since the church’s inception in 2013. Prior to pastoring, Pastor Le Ann worked with children, was a member of the praise and worship team, and co-founded One Flesh Family Ministries with her husband Ed.
Prior to becoming a pastor, Le Ann spent 15 years as a Federal Employee with U.S. Customs and Veterans Affairs. She most recently spent 10 years with the Cobb County School System. She was tenured with the school system in June of 2017.
